Preserving the history of Royer Chapel and Cemetery is an ongoing commitment, and we are proud to be in the midst of a multi-phase, multi-year cemetery restoration project. Working alongside Gravestone Guardians of Ohio, we are carefully restoring the cemetery one monument at a time. The work includes repairing broken headstones, resetting monuments that have tilted or shifted over the decades, and gently cleaning stones to reveal inscriptions that have been hidden by years of weathering. Their craftsmanship and respect for these historic memorials have been exceptional, ensuring that each restoration honors the individuals they commemorate while helping preserve the cemetery for future generations.
